Network Help
« on: 01 January 2010, 17:34:48 »

Ive got an old Belkin USB Lan NIC that i need to use to connect 360 to my laptop to connect to live as the switch thats between router and 360 is oppsed. But anyway.

When i plugged in my USB LAN NIC XP recognises it and installs the driver....for a Bluetooth device...Why is it doing this? It works in my old laptop (XP) but not this one :/ How can i make it come up as a NIC??

EDIT: Ive downloaded the correct driver from the belkin website. But when i go to Update driver it wont let me use the one ive downloaded, saying the current driver is the most upto date on :/

Force it into using the downloaded driver, click the update driver button in the drivers tab. do not auto search for drivers, go to manual, then use the have disk button and point it to the downloaded ones.
