AN E-MAIL TO THAILAND
« on: 24 March 2007, 08:50:14 »

Thai builders words cannot express my severe annoyance at this moment in time, and if I could speak Thai, the builder wuld be hearing the bad side of my tongue. Anyway the e-mail below is what I have sent him...hope the rest of you all have a nice weekend, as I am going for a drive to watford to unwind and maybe get pissed. :y

Afternoon Mr Chaichest, Kate advises that the house will not be finished when I arrive in Thailand?, this being the case when do you plan to have the house completed?

I AM NOT VERY HAPPY OR IMPRESSED TO SAY THE LEAST!!!!!

You have had more than enough time to get the house completed, I would suggest that you prioritise completing MY HOUSE over any other jobs that you have on site, and resource the job.

You promised me that the House would be finished by the end of March 2007, and that I need not worry!!!

So why is it not going to be finished and when will it be finished?

Could you please send me some pictures of the house.

Regards
Mike Balfour

So Mike, did some stealth spell shecker remove all the swear words as you were writing that e-mail or what?   ;)
Hope you get it sorted, although I think having someone there breathing down his neck will sort him out.
Good luck.  :y

;D No I refrained from putting in words that he may understand in english, however, the text in the e-mail is in red and bold, if thats not enough to show him how pissed off I am. The other e-mail I sent to my mate out there is below, he had his house built by the same guy.

morning/afternoon Tricky, See my latest e-mail to homeset below, f****n thai builders are so full of b******t, words to not express how pissed off I am at the moment, and i cannot wait to get over there and see that f***** Mr Chaichest. Could'nt run a piss up in a brewery, let alone get a job finished on time, or as promised.......sorry did I say promise......yes he did promise, not sure he understands what that word means?

Looks like I could be busy finishing some work on the house myself when I come out, in which case if I do, will deduct very large amounts of cash from Chaichests final payment. 150000baht a day, as I don't come cheap LOL.

He told Kate the other day he would pay for us to stay in a resort...do you know any resorts in Wanon?...I ain't stayin in a f****n resort.

Anyway rant over...How are things with you, hows the baby and that?, hows the rest of the lads?

See you soon.
Mike

It's because all the Thai builders are moonlighting as dancers in the clubs. They pay better than you  ;D
