Climate panel will sell, as will the 'wooden' plastic.  the rear blind, if working is valuable, as are rear leccy window bits. The list goes on.  The cruise will sell...

As far as I know, to keep the plate all you will need is the V5 in your name, a valid tax disc (easier than expired within last 6 months) and a valid MOT.  And complete the forms at your LVLO.  And £105, but this includes the £80 fee to transfer on at a future date to another car so the £25 is the paper 'holding' fee.

Suggest doing this ASAP, especially if the car is written off then the Ins Co will want the V5 and other papers from you.  Less of a problem, obviously, if you buy back the salvage but bear in mind that DVLA can be VERY quirky as regards written off vehicles and the transference of plates.  Do the deed now rather than later.

Worst case, costs you £105 to get plate onto paper, slaughter the car into its component parts, buy another with the megadosh from bargain bucket sale, transfer the plate onto the new steed.

Easy really.....   :y
