Todays the Day
« on: 29 January 2010, 08:17:24 »

A certain ex-PM wriggles his way out of telling the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth!

You have that in one, AA :y

I would be very surprised indeed should there be any revelations - other than confirmation of what the supreme show-man Ex Premier Blair is - to come out of his appearance.

It is well that justice is blind because the truth, especially in this matter, will never see the light of day.

We all knew what a jumped-up shower they were even then. So what did we do? Voted them back in.

Include me out!

I seem to remember a slogan from earlier years "Don't blame me! I voted Conservative."

I didn't vote for them either. But it's amazing how many people will rant about the foreign policy of a ruling government and then vote them back in because they promise an extra 50p a week on child benefit.

My age-affected thought processes have slowly uncovered the idea that I first came across this slogan when I was at school.

That means Wislon, not Bliar.

Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose. :( :( :(
