Cordless Drill
« on: 12 February 2010, 22:55:29 »

Im after a cordless drill. Whats good? Dont want to spend too much, up to £50 maybe.
Not for anything TOO major. Just general stuff, maybe some lil bits at work, until my boss sorts his act out.

oddly enough just had this email http://www.tooled-up.com/Product.asp?PID=135264&referrer=News221DC740KA%28wk07%29

Thats a good price, is it a good drill? Seen a lot of people in the trade use DeWalt.

Could do with a cordless drill myself....

DeWalt is one of the better makes out there and if you can afford the price then worth getting it :y

Yep - agreed.
Go to Screwfix and pick yourself up a decent Makita jobbie.
They've often got various Makita stuff on offer.

I think a few of us had that email as we went in for their email-harvesting competition.

I have a De Walt and am very pleased with it.  I would steer clear of 12v ones though.  The higher the voltage, the lower the current so the more reliable.
