A few years ago i asked for a tenner cash back at a very large supermarket chain (the one i hate), the cashier & i were so busy chopsin, we forgot about the cash back. I got home, realized my mistake & made haste back to the supermarket. I was told that i couldn't have my tenner, because i'd already left the shop & how was they to know. I said check her till, they said, we don't do that sir until the end of her shift.
In the end of kicking quite a fuss infront of many customers they backed down & gave me a ten pound voucher. I didn't get what i originally wanted, but i had my tenner.
