Animal rights.
« on: 18 February 2010, 21:22:19 »

Watched some rescue thing half asleep in bed this morning. They found a skunk (uk) presumed it had been de scented, found it a home in a uk zoo, soon found out he was'nt de scented...yuk!. Stopped en route, phoned said zoo who would no longer take him. Animal rights can & do legally prevent skunks having their scent glands removed as it's not life threatening yet are quite happy to see the skunk put to sleep if it can't be found a home otherwise!!!!
Too many chiefs etc who have no idea. Where is the logic in this. The skunk was rehomed but only had 2 days or the needle. rather outrageous! >:( >:(

you poor fool - look into PETA - they talk the talk, but willingly kill any animal that inconveniences them

It's news to me that you could even get skunks in the uk-presumably it was a pet or something? Odd pet though.....I know a fella at work who could do with scent glands being removed, phew! :P
