What would actually happen if absolutely no one in this country decided to vote on General Election day ?. No votes, so who get's in ???.
Yes I know it would never happen, but what if....?

The encumbents would continue in government until a resolution was found :y

you guess right - labour would remain in power until a subsequent election was called  :y
