TV went pop last night...
« on: 02 April 2010, 17:59:19 »

... So I had to go out and buy a new one today :y :y

SWMBO let me out unsupervised to buy a new TV. Came home with a 52" LCD ::) ::) Deal was too good to miss as I was only really after a 42" one but free Blue-Ray player included :y

Just need to sort out a Sky+ HD subscription now.......... Tunnie! ;) ;D

Just missed an offer for current customers  :(

They usually do 3 or 4 a year, they really want to up the HD subscriptions before 3D TV, so sure there will be another one soon  :y

Have to confess I ended up with a Sony :-X :-X

Was the best deal there (within my stretched budget) and took out a 5 year full repair/replacement warranty :y

KDL52V5810

Gotta wait for the bundled BluRay player to come in in a few days time. I'm happy with the deal TBH... Also bought a high quality surge protector. Should have done it a few years back really (TBH) as been living on borrowed time with the (old but) high end AV equipment ::)
