Shameless plug - London Triathlon
« on: 21 April 2010, 17:43:11 »

Firstly thank you to the admins for allowing me to plug my cause here.

Last year I made a concious decision to get back into the fitness regime I enjoyed in my teens and early 20's.  I reached 19 stone last year and felt awful, my previous job was very stressful and seeing as I was setup to fail the effect of that on my career had me in a downward spiral.  Thankfully my latest post is much better and my bosses are fantastic.  I have lost more than 2 stone since May and I started training properly a few months ago.

I have entered the London Triathlon in August which comprises of 1500m outdoor swim, 40km bike followed by a 10km run.  I am running the event in aid of Victim Support, a charity which works alongside the police to help victims of crime.  They have helped my family alot in previous years and my mum has worked for them for the past decade.  They rely on funding from the government and the public in order to survive.

I know things are tight for many but even if all you can spare a couple of quid every bit helps.  For more info and updates on my training and preparation visit:

Thanks again  :y

Good luck. :y

I'd not want to do any of the events on their own, let alone back to back with each other.  ::)
