We have a couple of great roundabouts, first is marked to use the left lane to take the 3rd exit which is well past 12 o'clock. The right hand lane is marked for only the 3 o'clock exit which is used the least.

Second r/b has 3 entry lanes and only 2 exits, and both exits are single carraigeway, this is the same for all approach and exit roads, figure that one out.

Here is first one http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&q=eastleigh&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Eastleigh,+Hampshire,+United+Kingdom&gl=uk&ei=aCnPS9jONISangOYr6E3&ved=0CAsQ8gEwAA&ll=50.950583,-1.364719&spn=0.000613,0.0012&t=k&z=20

I used to travel from Pompey to here & back when the M3 was extended to meet up with the M27. We used to pick up te A34 around there somewhere. What nightmare journies they used to be, they took ages & we tried just about every imaginable to avoid the road works ..... along with everyone who had the same idea  ;D

M3/M27 interchange pretty clear now. Except Friday night and Saturdays through the summer (holiday route)
M3/A34 interchange is probably worse now the M3 is complete, when you had the old A33 hockley traffic lights on the dual carraigeway A34 was ok.

I have this problem quite often and have learned just to be aware.. ::) ::)
Durham Road in Stockton (not cleaver enough to post a gogle pic :D :D)
Single road goes into two at the RA first exit at 8 o'clock, second at 10 third at 12 and forth at 3. lane markings say left lane for 12 exit but many use the inside lane, you need to be on the ball as you enter 12 o'clock...... :)

I go through about 4 or five of these on my commute, but the worst offender, the one that sees the red mist descend is turning off the M6 towards Stafford.  Occasionally there's a queue to turn right (to Stafford) of, say, about 3 cars.  The amount of people who use the left lane to turn right is disgraceful. >:(
