Just phone the sales line, they'll ALWAYS answer that then plead innocence and ask to be put through ;)

Thier loss, obviously the Vosophone signal is poor in my area, so all I will want now is the info to change the number to O2

Just need to get someone to unlock the phone.

I was told that all providers generarly use 2 mast networks (Cant remember the proper term)(not sure if that if=nfo is correct though)

So far it seems Orange and Vodophone must shaere the same range as there is no reception.

O2 is good but cant remember the other that was ok.

Vodafone is a poor network for coverage.  Don't bother checking their coverage map, its marketing bull.

Generally, O2 has best coverage, but not much 3g.

must admit, am happy with O2, cant get a single bar on Voda, Orange is ok if I use it in one part of the room, but if I simply swap the phone to my other ear I just cut people off, firking txts come through where ever the bloddy phone is though.  :-/

Only place I can get a usable voda signal around here (within a mile), is near the kiddies playground.  I swear I'll get arrested one day....

Anything is possible.

It shows 3 to 4 bars and has GPRS next to it, max is 6 bars I think, but is the signal for the phone the same as the GPRS signal and there is a solid red circle to the right of the GPRS, top left has a Vodophone logo.

Cant you tell I am totally clueless when it comes to mobile phones.

Phone is a Samsung 360 H1, As far as I am aware I just bought a standard sim, will this suffice for all the benifir=ts on the phone or should I need to get a more advanced/capable sim. (I feel really stupid at the moment  :-[ )

Getting a network error setting it up
SIM cards have a "shelf" life in that the service provider only lets them have so long to get registered, once that period expires then the card (as well as the number) die.

You won't be able to get a PAC code until the SIM is registered and live on the Voda network.

I agree, just didnt want to have to go for a run in the car to register a sim card,  been outside for a wander round and still no joy.  :-/
