the News of the World is biased against the rights of workers? :o :o :o

whatever next? an examination of the popes religion? ;D  ::)

So making personal threats and intimidating fellow staff are all legitimate "rights of the workers"?  ::) ::)

I've been reading quite a few comments from staff at BA and the vast majority are against the antics of BASSA/Unite.

Still, tomorrow, BA will publish it's annual report. Maybe, with a loss of c. £600m predicted, it will force the militants to face reality. But, then, I doubt it. ::)

and yet.....i read similar reports of management bullying and intimidation in other, less pliable, organ::)

BA spend enough on planting spin in a friendly press, they really don't need you defending them, i'm sure its appreciated tho....fingers crossed eh?  :y

Links?

Or just hearsay?  ::)

BA has just announced annual losses of £535 million. Its shares have dropped 24% in two months. Its staff are the highest paid in the industry, yet they want to go on strike. Which planet are these people living on ? :o >:(

Can you imagine yourself sitting around a table with Willie Walsh discussing working conditions.
The mans mind is set on destroying the union,and he will be the man who will be responsible for the demise of BA.

As far as I can tell, most of the issues have been resolved, it's just that Oor Wullie won't reinstate the travel perks that were in place before the strike.
In other words, he is severely penalising people for legitimately taking union-backed industrial action. Silly old Wullie, he'll break his company.

Does this not show that this dispute is more about politics than a genuine grievance between employer and employee?
