These adverts certainly wouldnt have been allowed a few years ago.

Now it seems anything can be shown on TV and at anytime of the day.

The one with the shredder has just this minute been shown on sky 353  MTV Hits channel.

What impression is it actually telling kids.

Our ad's are pretty tame over here, you want to see some of the ad's that get aired in the European countries !.  Ours are positively angelic by their standards !.  ::) .

The one's with the cuddlely toy disfigured faces on the old Vauxhall Corsa ad's, whereby the one got knifed for the sake of the ad ended up being removed in the end I think due to complaints ?.

I think it's a case of anything goes, as long as it sells, and gets talked about, as they know that if they push it, and it gets banned, then everyone will search the likes of youtube to find it to see just why it was banned, so the product will get an airing which ever way it goes ?.  Long gone are the days of self regulating ?!  ::) .
