Did you know that practically anything we write on here is picked up by Google. Take any comment (I took one about caravans ), do a Google search and up it comes.

As I said in the title, it's obvious that robots crawl over the site, but when you think that a throwaway line is being picked up by Google, it does make one feel a tad uncomfortable.   

While this is true, it doesn't really mean anything.  A specialist phrase will be found, but you'd have to be looking for it in order to initiate a search.  A non-specific conversational phrase will also (probably) be found, but there will be several hundred thousand other occurrences of the phrase found at the same time.  So while, in theory at least, everything you write here can be retrieved by a third party, they would need to be looking for it.  Useful rather than threatening.

Obviously, specific combinations of references to religious extremism, high explosives and martyrdom should be avoided on car forums and almost everywhere else.

I did an experiment.

Put "Darth Loo-knee" into Google and OOF comes up first.

Put "jereboam" in and  OOF is down at the bottom of page 4.

I'm not sure what this means.
