I think it was pretty much accepted by most at the time Doog that there was 'a rabbit away' & although the guy did (allegedly)have a genuine illness it was nothing like as serious as stated. There has been some dirty dealing done at the highest level of Government! It should make any right thinking person cringe with embarrasment & revulsion that it was done in 'our' name  >:(

There is not many things that really piss me off but this has pushed my buttons

http://www.thaindian.com/newsportal/world/cancer-specialist-says-lockerbie-bomber-abdelbaset-ali-mohmed-al-megrahi-might-continue-to-live-for-a-decade_100391491.html

The Lockerbie bomber Abdelbaset Ali Mohmed Al Megrahi who was released from his prison term early after a cancer specialist said that the bomber would only live for few months has been quoted as saying recently by a reputed media source that chances are there that the bomber might continue to live for 10 years.

i just done the numbers  270 dead  eight and a half years in jail =  he done one year in prison for every 31.7 deaths

What a joke this country is. We might as well put up a sign saying "Do what you like to us and we won't do a thing!!"

This bomber and Libya have basically taken the p*ss because they know we will roll over and let it happen >:( >:( >:( >:(

Same with Ronnie Biggs - another one who is still alive despite only having weeks to live!!
