you ought to live near me......all roads have signs to "the Celtic Manor" and silly little flags flutter everywhere, and road diversions/closures are rife.
all this for a few days golf???

Is the Ryder Cup such a big deal for Wales??

Big sign near me...."WALES WELCOMES THE RYDER CUP"

little silly USA flags on lamposts...........and flashing signs on the M48.......

Hope they are getting the golfer's attention.

Gleneagles in 4 years - they're planning the traffic already  :o

the ryder cup is something like the 3rd or 4th largest televised sporting event in the world, behind the Olympics, the World Cup and maybe the Superbowl? something like that I heard anyway - if I get more bored I'll check  ;D :y
