Fishing is awesome.  A couple of mates, a crate of beer, a boat and a few rods and reels.  I cant think of a better way of spending a Saturday afternoon!

I've honestly never seen the fascination, catching a fish then throwing it back in the river? Each to their own though

Definition of Fishing.

First, spend loads of dosh on rods, reels, bait, seat, and floats, hooks, etc.

find quiet little bit of water to sit for hours to fish.

Buy licence to own rod

buy licence to be able to sit and fish same little quiet bit of water

take day off

sit by the side of water and get cold.

CATCH A FISH!!!!!!

take it off hook, throw it back in


rebait hook and sit back down


Go home, after catching one fish in 8hrs of sitting by water

Get cold

sniffle for next three days

Spend ooodles of money, to see one fish in 8 hrs

lose interest, and sell all kit for peanuts a year later

Find another hobby.

lol could be compaired to driving an omega. Spend lots of money to get it right then have a good day driving only to find that it has ate another crank sensor so spend more money then sell it for peanuts.
