MOT ADVISORY
« on: 05 November 2010, 23:09:44 »

I was looking at buying a car and on the last MOT it says:

Nearside Front Road Wheel Slightly Distorted Bead Rim (4.2.A.1a)

How serious is this? and should it put me off buying the car. All other checks show it has not been clocked, had an accident, no o/s finance etc.

Check the price of a replacement 'round' jobbie and see if you can get it knocked off the purchase price. :y

As Turk says and be aware that a replacement alloy can easily set you back a fair number of notes so you need to negotiate hard for a discount if alloys are involved
