Autumn storm
« on: 05 November 2010, 20:53:55 »

Look out for strong winds and possibly some local coastal flooding (due to wind/tide combination) from Sunday through Monday. Will also turn much cooler for a while as wind swings round from initial SW direction to SE,  E and NE later.

Have a look at this ..

http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/surface_pressure.html

click on the T+60, T+72 and T+84 tabs ....  it starts to get "interesting" ... the 24 hours AFTER present T+84 ( will be available by tomorrow night) could get some folks exited/worried (delete as appropriate  :)  )

Will it be dry in N.E Lincs tomorrow? Not taking the proverbial but i flounder on these weather sites, they seem to go right round the houses. I fancy taking the Cortina for a jaunt round the fens! :)

We have +4.7 m tides here this weekend, combine that with the deep low and the wind driving the waves anything could happen,  I'm only 200m from the sea but 30m above it fortunately!

Keep yer wellies by the door.....

Rather a lot of rain coming in from the West now

http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/radar/

...and 70mph gusts in the Western Isles. :o

Nice and quiet down here in London, though. ;)
