Bushes and shocks done!
« on: 14 December 2010, 23:48:55 »

A big thumbs up to chris for his guide and advice on replacing the bushes.  In the end I didn't need the puller I just manipulated it out with claw hammers.  In the end the job was easier than i thought it was going to be but the lift, 2' axel stands and the 10 ton jack at work helped a lot....

the shocks were easy too and were done while the bush was setting itself flush but as the springs need the diff to be dropped to change them I think I will wait until later in the week.

I had a little play on the way home and there is a marked difference.  In fact I may have to go and explain myself to the adjutant tomorrow morning as I may have 'accidentally' done a massive powerslide leaving camp.  I need to check the cctv angles tomorrow  :-[

- rear springs
- rear discs
- front wishbones + droplinks
- heater matrix
