Classic Fords are my first love but these old Crestas & Velox's are totally cool.

An old skool Ford man myself I would have to agree that these old Vauxhalls have the styling edge over the Zodiac, Consuls or Zephyrs of the same era...... :)

I have many fond memories of this car, my first and only Ford.

I went into the fuel station attached to a Ford dealership for the sole purpose of getting fuel for the Volvo 244 I was driving at the time - I drove out in the Granada. :-? :-?

Gorgeous. So many 2 door mk1's in various specs/mods i could'nt tell without looking. If it started life as a Mexico it will have the type 49 body shell (stronger than standard 2 dr.) & would originally been fitted with the 1600 GT X-flow...slightly hotter cam, twin choke carb, 4 branch manifold etc. Does'nt sound much but surprisingly nippy plus firmer suspension. If i'm not mistaken the engine you show is the BDA twin cam...lovely but delicate! :y 8-)
