Anyone work in Design or Print?
« on: 22 January 2011, 18:08:01 »

I've spotted a huge A0 printer on floor above me at work, its massive  :o

I'd like to print a poster of the world, or Europe for my flat, plot points i've been to and such.

I've been using a cheeky way of saving Google Maps to A3 print size, but this printer is design print spec, its used for promotional work, so i need a decent map of the UK or Europe with at least 300 DPI resolution.

Anyone out there have access to such files?  :)

How good a quality is the A3 print?
Coz in theory.....if you were to scan it at 2400dpi, if you have access to an A3 scanner....
Then increase the size to A0 you will end up with 300dpi

Not great, but it's ok at A3.
