A couple of people have contacted me about seemingly valid OOF thread notification emails, but when checking, the thread they have subscribed to hasn't been updated.

These are nothing to be alarmed about, they are just coming from our test site, which to do some specific testing, we've had to enable its email system, which has meant some emails have gone out.


Sorry if this has caused any any convenience or concern  - although be aware that it may reoccur over the coming weeks.

Yeah I got one of those emails:

Hi Nickbat,

My name is Joshua Le Boy and I am a citizen of Brackleydan, Nigeria. I am the legal representative for the Omega Estate, one of Nigeria's largest banana plantations which has recently been sold for USD25m. I have been bequeathed this money but cannot bank it Brackleydan. If you like to share in this money, I would need your bank details in the UK. Please let me know by return and I will give you 50% (USD12.5m)."

Sounds good to me.
