Why oh why was there never a V8 Omega????
Such a missed oppurtunity.
Look forward to the Cadillac ATS & ATS-V. Maybe a re-badged one will replace the Miggy as a RWD runner?

There's been quite a few factory built V8's over the years. The only difference is that they don't have a Vauxhall / Opel badge on the grille.

A "wasted opportunity"? Perhaps, but only in Europe.

204BHP from a 3.8? Badged as what is now a Daewoo? No thanks. I'll stick to my original plan which is the next logical step.

In a few years time when the Beastie's finally on her last legs & i can afford it, it'll be a VX/Holden Monaro with a manual box. A proven car with unlimited COOL factor & ability.

Yes Jaime you can have a go!!!!! :D :y

Lizzie. As a mere woman surely you would be better off with a nice little shopping car. An elderly Hillman Imp would be just the ticket..... :) :-* :-* :-* :-*

1960's engine design. Have driven a few cars with that engine and it couldn't pull the skin off a wet rice pudding compared to the 3.0/3.2 Omega.
