Your'e a star Opti. The Mexico was'nt a BDA twin cam or Lotus, it simply ran the 1600 X-flow GT spec engine as fitted to the Mk2 Cortina 1600E/GT but still had the type 49 bodyshell. On paper by todays standards it was'nt all that, 0-60 9 or 10 seconds top end 110 ish. Point was the way it did it, the involvment & grin factor.

  If i could afford one....... 8-)
