Williams Renault return
« on: 05 July 2011, 14:16:50 »

Williams F1 are to be supplied with Renault engines again from next season. Hopefully it will be the start of the return to glory for Williams. They have always been my favourite F1 team. :)

I think it is more than engines. Mclaren have some personnel embedded in Williams.

It would be nice to see Williams up there again. :y

They are one of the few teams not to have been bought (or at least partially bought) by a major manufacturer, and have therefore been dwarfed by the huge budgets available to many of the other teams. This Renault tie up might be such an arrangement, Im not sure tbh, havent seen the details.
I do know that they are floating a percentage of the company on the stock market some time soon, which should enable a large cash injection I would think. :y
