I've had mixed experience on EBay but on the whole, it's great for grabbing a bargain. As for selling, I'd do this over a car boot sale any day!!!

It has its advantages, but as a general rule of thumb I never buy anything off ebay that I wouldnt be prepared to buy off a pikey in the local pub as either way you get the same guarantee!

Electricals are usually a no no for me as its all too easy for selers to sell something which doesnt work "it worked when I sent it" sort of thing, but I have bought a couple of s/h car stereo's in the past.

Sold a couple of cars on there recently too without issue, but I did go to see an omega nearly 100 miles away (as mentioned in another thread0 to find it was nothing like the impression given in the ad.
