One for the PC Gurus
« on: 31 July 2011, 11:49:02 »

Hi

My PC's started to run very slowly approc 10-15 seconds from double clicking an Icon to it actually opening the program?

Are any of the PC Power Boost software you can download actually any good and safe?

Try doing a defrag.....that should help a bit, but i suspect it may need rebuilding

it will defrag and tweak the settings on the pc as to what profile you assign at the start :y

if your hard drive led shows high activity check the processes from task manager, etiher windows or virus scanners may be busy downloading an update..

also check available free physical memory..

and if your system drivers are handy a rebuilt will give better performance than many.. (if you have time)
