carports work well in Euroland, you even get big covers for parking at supermarkets because of the sun.

But here in the UK we get about 3 hot days a year, the rest its just went and windy!

There is a market for these, offices & business owners are your main focus I think. I can't see this working for a lot of houses, because often a garage / driveway is in front of the houe and that would stand out.
