Lakes
« on: 11 June 2007, 18:14:27 »

Sorry lads I have not been on the forum for a couple of days, I had a bad fall in work on saturday bust my leg, arm, collar bone, luck man really, fell about 15 foot whils doing some repairs on a crane hoist, dick head below me knocked me off with a cherry picker whilst dragging and ripping my harness apart.
I have just read all the posts about the lakes, glad you all had a good time and I hope to be on the next meet, if I could have got there last week end I would not be sat in plaster casts now, still I am on the road to recovery.

Health & Safety were climbing all over the place yesterday, bloke driving the cherry picker did not even have a licence for it, he was some agency guy.

Not good at all - get well soon - perhaps enough compensation for a late 3.2 Elite will help :-X

Sorry to hear of your accident, lots of questions to be asked by H&S. Most concerning is who sent the bloke from the agency and who in your empire o.k'ed him to work there. :o :o

Hope you make a full and quick recovery. :y

Thats Bad news Miggy at least its not too serious :y...and you should get a comp. payout aswell but your main employer will potentially cop the payout, and with comeback on the agency, well at least you'll have a claim to fame you'll end up on the HSE website for construction accidents in 2007, which will also list actions against company responsible.
