Posted this yesterday in the General discussion area but it got buried quickly.
Thought I'd try once more before giving up.

Long shot but thought I'd try this.
Scuffed the Omega last week  and will not have it repaired locally due to them being extortionate and rubbish . As you can see on my location I live in Ireland now but  prior to comming over had some paint mixed up into aerosols by AR Davies in Baldock Herts which was a 100% match for Z489.
They even found three different shades and identified mine as 68 L
They cant/ wont ship to Ireland ,which is disappointing as I have had aerosol tins sent over several times before, so I'm asking if there is any member in that area that could pick me up a couple of tins and post them over .
There are motor factors over here that will mix into aerosol but they all use water based paints and can't supply solvent based any longer , besides I am uncertain as to there quality of match.
I'd much rather have solvent based ,which AR Davies can still do , and the same mix as before ( 68 L ) to get that perfect match again.
So there we are , can any body help ? All monies etc will be paid prior to any collection / posting and I'll gladly pay for any expenses incurred in getting there

hi don, i can try around here if you like after the weekend, as you say most of them are now using water based, i know a mate of mine got one made up for a rover in cadbury purple & the match was very good & pretty sure that was cellulose, mind you that was a while ago

I'm gonna be calling you re other things anyway so we'll speak about it then.
Oh ,I bought one of those 2.4 inch screen MP5 players too ,well I needed one for the Manta .....
but that's it, don't be telling me about anything else..
I think the Postie thinks I'm bringing in opium with all these padded bags being delivered from China!
