Yes have red stuff on the front with EBC discs, as Jamie has said track day use, but once warmed up on the country lanes they're fine and work very well, have to be a bit more careful when motorway or dual carriageway driving though, having saying that they still stop the car :y

Thanks Mike. Fair point, I have a real mix of driving on country lanes and motorways and I guess the brakes are likely to get up to temperature quicker on the country lanes rather than motorways, particularly driving long distance.

Maybe best sticking with Vx.  :y

Genuine Vx on mine - absolutely no problems, especially when you take into account our local terrain.
(And Mrs Sethsmate's driving technique!)

Think I shelled out just over a ton for front discs/pads quite recently.
Saying that, I've had no problems with standard EBC products either.
