SWMBO's Seat Belts
« on: 23 September 2009, 23:45:49 »

Well SWMBO's MX5 came round for MOT and we knew it wouldn't pass due to the the seat belt being re designed by the dog when he was younger (very chewed!)

I got a new gen Mazda one from a MX5 specialist at jut over £100 and although it physically fitted the pre tensioner plug didn’t fit. So that got sent back and they said that was the only one listed for the MY2000.

I tried the stealers, they wanted £160, plus three weeks to get it in from Japan, oh and they couldn’t guarantee it would be the right one, despite them having the VIN and reg number!!!!

So we was up the creak and no one packed the paddles! I then found these guys www.quickfitsbs.com and they took the belt in, replaced the belt onto the original real, had it ready for me in three days, all for £32 inc VAT!!! Bargain!
