td charge air-pipe
« on: 03 November 2009, 12:15:38 »

when cleaning oil from rad cowl and engine i noticed that the charge air-pipe (embossed turbo diesel) appeared to be slightly warped at the side nearest the rad., a gap at the seam looked as if it was leaking oil. running silicone along the seam and replacing jubilee clips has seemed to have cured my oil leak  :y :y

I have the same problem with mine, looks like the pipe comes in 2 sections and the seam leaks oil. I will be using Sikaflex on mine its sticks like poo to a woolly blanket ;)
