oops ......... pranged his car !!

just had a call off the brother in law too be.  " decient bloke but a total c@ck of a driver  ::) ::)

it would seem he has pranged the front end of his ford focus zetec on a 02 plate and is now in need of a new bumper sharpish  :y

anybody know of one which is being broken up  :y
the colour is metalic silver  :y

hit a barrier at 5am
says it was black ice but more like he was driving like a idiot  ::) ::)
no witnesses he hopes  ::) ::)

Given the current popularity of the Focus, it's pretty much a guarantee that almost any breaker you call will have a bumper in stock.

just been round all the scrapys round here and no luck  :(
i can get one for about 50 quid plus delivery but you then have to pish about painting it  :(

oh and its a Mk 2  :y

looks like it will end up being filled  with plastic padding or simlar and then painted by ME  :D
might get 2 tubs of filler in because it won't be long before he prangs it again  :(

sadly he is one of those drivers who drives at 39 mph in the outside lane of a 40 duel carageway and judges his driving skill by seeing how fast he can accelerate upto 39 and how close he can get to the next cars bumper  >:(

its got to the point where i won't let the missus or kid in a car with him  >:(

and he is a better driver then me cos he passed his test "first time"    :-? :-?

Check out the price of even a lowly "pattern" bumper, he'll soon go running to the breakers.

I'm not the world's best by a long shot, but that is the sort of driver who is.....

1. An idiot who isn't doing ANY other road user any favours
2. Likely to suffer personal injury when it all goes wrong
