Not that many year ago, I remember E on the end let alone the front.......

forgot to say that was the second time i owned it I saved it from the crusher in 2002.
bought it first time round 1996 for £2500.
and it was a manual EX under takers car god I wish I kept it

1958 Duple 56 seater road coach. Dream drive that this 'large car' gave me; high up and in charge of the road!!

Lost part ownership with loss of marriage.  Very sad (losing the coach, not the marriage!!)

why not do an Ann Gloag and start your own 56 seat limo company

That may be a good sign, it may be having a full restoration at the moment. Surely noone would scrap a Mk1 Granny, although they did like them on the banger racing scene

Not sure if i regret selling it, Ford Escort RS 1600i        A143 GAO, i bought it from the first owner, who had it for 10 years, and only had 980 miles on it, he'd stored it in a heated, carpeted garage, changed the oil every 6 months, always had it mot'd, waxoyled, it looked and smelled like a brand new car. I bought it with the intention of using it as a weekend car, but it was too good to use, so it carried on life in my garage, occasionally coming out on nice dry sunny days, i sold after three years with 1,100 miles, i believe the current owner is the RS 1600i registrar at the club, i bumped into him once at a meeting, tried to drum up a conversation about the car, and he was very evasive, bit of a cock actually, anyway, at least it went to a good home, wonder how many miles are on it now.

Been a few, one i was most upset about was my series 1 RS Turbo, i loved that car, took it to every ford show i could. Had to sell it when i got made redundant, few months later i had another job, i couldve cried.

The other was my late dads Ford Capri, a couple of weeks ago. The lad who bought it has promised to keep in touch and let me know how shes going though, makes it slightly easier.
