The little hinge for the Elite / MV6 estate aerial to allow it to hinge when hit by the tailgate spoiler is a Prodrive item available from Prodrive still.

I believe it was Hotel21 who purchased one last.

This is the part that you wrestled with on your mum's estate.

I had a gismo on the black 2000 elite estate. It was at the base of the ariel and (ariel screwed into it) looked like a ball with a bit added to it and made the ariel sit at 90deg to the roof, is that what you are all talking about. :-?
