I'm thinking about trying to get hold of a facelift irmscher kit and put it on my pre facelift now i know the back bumper will go on if i go for the single exit type but what about the front bumper will i have to change loads of stuff like the headlights and bonnet or do you think i could get my bodyshop to sort it so i dont have to change all that ???? Just thinking out loud and thought it would be interesting to hear peeps comments.

They do but the grill has to be modified and you'll have a hell of a lot of trouble getting a facelift Irmscher kit. If you're lucky enough to find one it'll be mega expensive too  :o

Normal facelift bonnets & grille don't appear to be as deep as a prefacelift bonnet & grille to me  :-/

They will fit, but as already said you willl have a gap between the bonnet and the bumper as the grill wont fit into the gap so you will either have to fit a facelift bonnet or modifiy a grill, if you fit a facelift bonnet you will have to modify your windscreen washer jets as they are on the bonnet of prefacelifts but on a facelift they are next to the wiper arms :y

Hi,
Place near Sunningdale called Rude cars did just what you are talking about.
I believe it was their Omega Elite that was an early example of their work.
If you go to:

http://www.rudecar.co.uk/modifications/index.htm

and look at the bottom of the list the Omega shown is a Prefacelift with a Facelift Irmscher Front Bumper and a home made grill.

I'm sure Tony would be very happy to talk to you at great length about what they did. ::)

I think LMF still had the Facelift front bumper - but they were about a million quid. :o
