I have to say, I was involved in a caravan accident as a child. However, it was not the caravaners fault. It was caused by a lorry driver falling asleep at the wheel and clipping the caravan, sending it and the 5 people in the car spinning up the M1. The lorry driver never stopped. Just kept driving and left us to it.

I still caravan to this day, and was my main reason for buying my Omega. Great car for towing.

If I want speed, I leave the Omega at home and go out on the ZX9R :)

Yep! thats what I bought my Suzy 900 for!!

Had the RF600 for 10 years, was a great commuter, The 9 just wants to rip my arms out the sockets (on a private road)

ZX10 was a great bike. I prefer the older bikes (90's) to the new rubbish thats comming out.

It's friggin' heavy lifting it off the tarmac  :-[

I think I did as much damage to myself trying to lift it than I did in the 'incident' itself.

What really pissed me off is everyone driving around me.  The only 2 people to stop were 2 old codgers, but have been in their 80s, who helped :y.

I help Admin a site for the zx9's (quite a few other kawasaki model owners joined as it's a friendly site) I always stop, even if i'm in the car for any biker thats broke down. you never know when you'll need the same help. Same with the caravaning. Usually a friendly bunch and many mates made from it.

Yeah, I agree, I always stop for any biker.  Caravanners, no, they can suffer, and serves them right for clogging up the roads, and helping councils put lower speed limits everywhere  >:(

I tried to talk SWMBO into letting me cut the back out of the caravan so I could take the bike with me. Was pushing my luck a little far as i've already turned the dinning room into a haven for the 9 I have in boxes  ::)

Cheap holidays in a van with a little sprog though.

Bloody nuisance caravans, even more so now Mrs G has found out my Dad has one down in Cornwall. Only place I can "stand" straight is lying down in bed. Wahaaay.  ::) :-X

I have to crouch down and turn sideways to get in the bloody door, and stoop once inside, I hate the flaming thing.  >:(
