I think you'll just have to face it Dell - you've fallen for the Merc ;D ;D :y

Forget the 'E' class just go for the 'S' - you'll have all the room you need. 8-)

mate that merc is awsome! absolutely love it. not that i know about these things but do u lose any performance with it being diesel?

also the flappy padel gear shift...... can i ask if you put the car in auto and turned the sports or race mode on (or whatever equicalent it has) would u get the same performance in terms of acceleration and speed as u would with using the paddle shift? :):):)

BHP is 170, 0-60 is claimed to be 8 seconds I think, but timed via stopwatch and verified by GPS, 0-60 was done in 7.86 seconds so it's way under quoted. This was done with ESP off and using flappy paddles. This box isn't the best with using tiptronic on the gearstick or via paddles, it's much better in full auto mode, but putting it in manual mode means you can have some serious sideways fun when it's twisty. To switch to paddles or gearstick shifting, you simply pull one of the paddles or move the gearstick. Or you have a button, C-S-M, Comfort, Sport, Manual, I'd say it's quickest in manual, but I haven't done a 0-60 run in auto sport so it's hard to tell really.

Here is a video of, of course my friend test driving the car  :y
