A Series Engine

I know this is a bit of a long shot, does anybody on here have a 1275/1300 a+ series engine for sale, have tried the useual places but nothing decent has come up!!

They struggled to tick that box the day they were made!

Much harder to find these days sadly

Your problem is it's an old engine, and like all 1950s engines, wasn't built for big miles. Added to that it hasn't been made for 20yrs, most will have covered big miles.

That said, a series cars such as the proper mini have a large following, I would have thought there would be enthusiast sites all over the net

The more time I spend here, the more I am imagining you have a garage that looks something like the inside of a Unipart (or maybe an MT Section .. or at least what an MT Section used to be like, I suspect!)  ;D ;D

Could possibly do the same - always reckoned I've got enough bits to build a mini - only need a good shell :) :) ;)
