a mate of mine has just announced that he's selling his LandCruiser VX.

pretty damn decent car and LPG'd, too.

want me to put you in touch ?

That'd tempt me if I wasn't spending so much on the house/garden at the moment... The best 4x4 is, IMHO, the Land Cruiser. It's favoured by the Arabs :y

Very little, mate. Excellant vehicle, although if not lpg'd a bit juicy to run. All said, versatile and comfortable.
The only things to really watch are the rear shock absorbers, std ones are weak and weedy, but aftermarket ones transform it.

Good choice!

After last winter I posted for info on used Range Rovers, I've now had to downgrade my ambitions, and am looking for a good 4X4 up to £2500, maybe a Discovery or Jeep. Any suggestions? TIA :y

Have a look at the Ford Explorer - lots have been converted to LPG and loads of cheap spares too.

I have one for towing my jet ski and can't fault it.

Have recently sold one on a P plare, ex police, and got £1k for it. Excellant vehicle, but you MUST keep up regular servicing, and they must have sequential LPG kits, early kits got it the nickname "Ford Exploder" as the plenums are made of plastic, and pre-detonation blows them to bits!!
