If you're after a CID the best way is to buy a whole car I think, as it almost works out cheaper in the end. Take the CID, put a GID in it and sell it on for not much less than you bought it, if any less at all.
I was lucky and bought a damaged Omega with a CID, but there are currently two Omega's on ebay that are pretty cheap currently with CID's.
I'm not the seller of these vehicle, nor do I know the vendor;

The CID only works with the 2013 or 2015 as you say

Both the head unit and the display can be set to factory mode with Tech2 (depairing).  Display then replaced with, say, a GID instead of the CID and set back up.

The original headunit can easily stay in place.

I have a spare CID - well spare in the sense I have all the bits - just need the TFT screen to replace the faultyunit -  I think the proper replacment is no longer available. Anybody got an alternative screen to the Toshiba?

And don't use that piece of shite "My Naff Code Reader" to do this task - I have an NCDC2015 here that an OOF member buggered up pairing up with "My Naff Code Reader".

I was able to recover the display and the CD Changer, but the main board is as much use as a used johnny smeared in dogshite.

Still, I'm not complaining, his loss, my gain
