I'm aware of the existence and function of the remote control, but thanks to all those above who've reminded me about it [smiley=grin.gif]
I won't make a date to watch it, but will sit through it if its on, and though I don't advocate a return to the dryly factual days of William Woollard (remember him?), I do think the show veers uncomfortably from attempting to be the 'motorists champion' (remember the attacks on the Chief Constable of North Wales?) to "entertainment" and then on to puerile sterotype bashing - caravanners and caravans, any products of the failed British motor industry, the French, redneck Americans, American cars, gays, foreigners in general. I'm trying not to appear po-faced and humourless, because I'm anything but, but isn't the above all a bit tired and lame?
Wouldn't a fresh approach (and new presenters) be refreshing? Haven't the kiddies had their day?
Incidentally, as somebody mentioned MoTD above, I'd also like to put Lineker, Hansen and most especially Lawrenson in the way of that drive-by shooting that Clarkson is already lined up for.... [smiley=grin.gif]
