MoT Passed
« on: 11 January 2011, 10:43:21 »

See:  http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1294522190 firstly.

The TD's just flown through it's annual test again - so I'm a happy chappie! ;D

Got one 'advisory' item though:
"Child seat fitted not allowing full inspection of adult seat belt" :-?

Whilst I should've removed the seat first, (a ten second task!), has anyone else experienced this one? >:(

Kicking meself now, as it'd have been a 'clean sheet' otherwise ..........  :o

Well done! I only got two advisories which I sorted. Shoul sail through the next one hopefully!

Seems like they're nit picking about the child seat!

as said the tester is not going to dismantle the childs seat for inspection.

in recent accident in birmingham the child and seat was katapulted thru the window due to it being incorrectly fitted.

tester has put it in print.

but he presumably had a tongue in his head, why didn't he say something to the effect of .... 'it'll get an advisory on the seat belt due to the kiddie seat, do you want to remove it first?'  :-?

he is simply stateing he could not test the seatbelts properly because the child seat was in the way, it may have also impaired his visible checks so they have to put this to cover their ass, just in case Vosa was round the corner when you left and checked it again,
in other words its all bullshit but it has to be done!
