If it were a 3.2 Estate with all the goodies I might have been tempted ::)
In elite form it would still be over priced. But alot more justifiable.

Meant 3.2 Elite Estate ;) Oh... And at that price I would have expected it to be mint, with a new Cambelt kit, water pump etc, and probably fairly new tyres too ::) ::)
Believe estates go for more than saloons, do they? So given the price of mine, thanks to Josh, still ott. But yes, I see where your coming from.

You need to badger Josh a bit more. ;)

Not really... I've spent the money I was going to spend buying and LPGing a replacement for mine on the garden now so need to save up again or take a loan... If the right one comes along (Josh knows what I'm after) then I'll start raiding the piggy bank again ::)

To be fair, Josh has given me first refusal on a few now but none have been exactly what I want. The black one has been seriously tempting but there'd still be money for me to spend ::) If it had the CID and a light coloured interior I'd have snapped his hand off ;) ;)

;D my Elite saloon has a CID, I'd be willing to put that into the estate for you Paul to get rid of it...but there would be no chance of doing anything with the interior as shale/shadow grey leather is hard to find.
It's advertised at £3625 with 62,000 miles.
Unfortunately, that is top money for the vehicle...but I bought it at top whack when there were no 3.2 Elite estate's about, and then other's came on the market.
Fortunately, things have taken a better turn for me...so I'm now able to sit on it until it sells.

Of the current vehicles I
have for sale on ebay, autotrader etc the Omega estate is getting the most interest, calls etc, just no appointments. But, that's the nature of the game really.

Could probably do the same... If I hadn't waited so long for this current one to come up. Probably going to be my last omega.

At the end of the day, you know what I'm after and I'm sure you'll be letting me know as soon as you see one! I just don't like Black Leather interiors... I've never been a fan TBH, although I have seen a few (not Omega) black interiors I quite liked :y

That said, I expect if I looked over the one you've got I'd be shaking the piggy bank after all the prep work you've put into it ::) ::)

Just out of interest... Are you likely to be heading to the NE Hampshire meet?

I'm probably going to sell my Omega Elite saloon in the next 3 months or so, and that'll be it for me. It won't be replaced with another Omega as my private car. My choices are either; 2006 + Volvo S80, 2005 Jaguar XJ or 2005 '55' + Range Rover. I just don't know what yet. But, every time I see a late plate black Elite saloon I can't help thinking I couldn' bring myself to sell mine.

:D no worries Paul...as soon as one that does fit the bill comes up, we'll be all sorted then  :y

I was actually thinking the other day when reading the thread it'd be good to go to the Hampshire meet...so if I'm free I may well do.

It's going well thanks Josh, will be visiting Mr Loo Knee shortly for fitting front shocks/springs/wishbones. Other than that it's been faultless - just want it to handle like the V6 does with it's new(ish) suspension.

Would benefit from a good polish though... Shall I book it in with you to be done at Newent or the Lakes?!  :D
