Insurance renewal price
« on: 21 February 2011, 00:44:11 »

It's that time of year when you get the dreaded letter through the post saying that we would like to rob you blind for another twelve months peace of mind,so after expecting a huge increase I was surprised to see it had only gone up by £14 in comparrison to last year!
I know things have gone up so I checked my present insurers website for a quote to see if it was any cheaper as a new customer, here comes the amazing part it was £143 more ! I couldn't make it up if I tried,so for once it looks like my insurance company have done their job and looked for a lower price for me rather than just pull a figure from the sky, turn me round, drop my trousers and spank me with it.
Just for the record £183 fully comp for the year  :y

Mind you it is scrap that I am driving around in  ;D

Thats a great deal, mines a tad under £400. Mind you it's only gone up by about £40 from last year.

I think another reason for my quote being relatively low is I only do about 2,000-2,500 miles a year including commuting as I am a part time worker plus as said above my car is scrap value at most !

The mileage does make a heck of a difference.
I do about 10,000 a year.....
