Fiat Brava
« on: 26 February 2011, 13:23:13 »

Does anyone know where the diagnostic socket is on a 52 plate 1400cc Fiat Brava? I've not had chance to even look yet, I was just hoping that someone might save me the hassle of dismantling my sister-in-law's car looking for it.
TIA  :y

Ah! I've tried to phone her to see if I can call round be as yet no answer .............. thanks for the offer. It could very well be tomorrow now when i get to her house.  ;)

why do women have a mobile phone when they  ....
1) don't answer it?
2) don't carry it?
3) bury it at the bottom of their handbag where they'll never hear it?

It was actually fastened to the bottom edge of the dash, in line with the steering column, it's in the perfect place to kick it as you get in & out of the car.
The code was for engine temp sensor although the light has since gone out on its own. TC cleared now, so we'll see what happens over the coming weeks.  :y

Your description sent me to more or less the right place. My ex brother-in-law had filled the available space behind the triangular panel with alarm/immobilser wiring so it took a little while to realise the OBDII socket wasn't there. But soon found it.  :y :y
