I've just bought a Panda :)

Good story too.  I part ex'd my Jag against it.  Spotted the car on their website at a grand under what it should be.  Drove to the dealer - jag gearbox failed twice on the way there.  ABS/Traction failed just outside the dealer.  Turned off/on and cleared the faults.  Parked up at dealers.  Checked the car out - and sure enough the ticket in the window was a grand more than the website.  Salesman said 'whatevers on the website is what you pay' - and then wandered off to check himself.  Overheard them trying to blame each other on who listed it  ;D  Went outside, kicked the tyres of my Jag (which from the outside still looks in good nick) and returned with a deal 1600 quid below hte forecourt price.  I sat, drew breath through gritted teeth, grinning on the inside, and said 'Is that the best you can do?'.  I got a free service, valet, and tank of fuel.  Deal struck!
Could drive it away, so had to leave.  Got in the Jag and rolled off the forecourt, round the corner and straight into the nearest side-street.  Left it there and got the train home.  Got the train back a couple of days later and drove it 100yds back onto their forecourt.  Took my tax disc out (rebate) and handed them the keys.

Win (as far as I'm concerned) as I couldn't afford to fix the Jag, can't afford the fuel any more, and it's MOT was due in a month.

Just an update....

Had the antiroll bar fitted today.....the bushes wont come off...as the metal plates either side are welded together....took the mechanic about 2 hours to get the old off and new on  ;D He had to support the engine as he had to remove an engine mount and most of the suspension  :o
However.....it's nice having a motor that doesnt make 'clunking' noises over every bump now  :y
